Follow us on Untappd!
If you haven’t heard of it, Untappd is a fairly new social networking site for beer. Every time you drink a beer you can check in and rate it, as well as take a picture of it and write a brief description. See what I’ve been drinking and share what you love with the world!
Go here and sign up, then download the app as well. Search for DraftPunkPDX and follow my journey through the beer cosmos.

Portland Fruit Beerfest List
The Portland Fruit Beerfest, put on by Burnside Brewing, starts today! To entice you to attend this wonderful celebration of fruity beers, take a look at this list of what you’ll be able to drink!
Take note of my personal favorite from last year, as well as last year’s ” beer of the show”, Breakside Brewery’s Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. If you’ve ever wanted to drink a beer that tastes just like rhubarb pie, this is your brew.
More info at the Fruit Beerfest website.

Alameda Taco Beer
Specially created for Cinco De Mayo by Alameda Brewing. This beer is brewed with all the taco spices you’d expect like cilantro and chipotle. It tastes surprisingly taco like.

Welcome to Burnside’s UniMoss. This beer is brewed with uni sea urchins imported from Japan. Yup, you read that right. And it’s delicious. Pair it with a seafood dish.

Feast your eyes on Burnside’s Oatmeal Pale Ale. A nice hoppy hit with the smoothness of oatmeal. Can’t go wrong.

This is Burnside’s Wild Plum Gose. Less sweet and fruity than most other gose beers I’ve had before. A nice light wheat taste with a kick a light saltiness. Goes great with the quiche they paired it with.
